Rael founded BASI Pilates over 30 years ago, creating a global Pilates school with thousands of Instructors around the world. He poured his knowledge and experience into the design of BASI Systems apparatus, with functionality and aesthetics in mind.

The modern design of BASI Systems has won awards for its innovative approach while staying true to the principles of the founder of Pilates method, Joseph Pilates. Gladform proudly represents BASI Systems in the UK from its headquarters in London, since 2017.
